Kastro - Castle View

Our second castle view room, Kastro, takes its name from a romance language word for fortification.

For those who love to bask in the shade of history, Kastro studio has an unspoilt view up to the up to the ruins of Feraklos castle, a Medieval fortress, which overlooks the enchanting bay of Haraki.

Located on the first floor, Kastro is cool and fresh; an ideal place to spend your holiday in this pretty seaside village. The room is bright and airy, with cool tiled floors and a window which opens onto your private balcony, allowing the evening summer breeze to flow in as dusk falls.

There are twin beds with bedside tables and reading lamps, as well as a dressing table and chair, and a wall-mounted TV for those moments when you want to chill out with the air-conditioning on before heading off for an evening out. The studio also has a double-wardrobe to hang all your holiday clothes in, a dressing table with mirror, and a wall-mounted hairdryer.

The kitchenette, located at the entry to the studio, is fully equipped for all your basic self-catering needs, with a fridge, two-ring stove, microwave, kettle, and filter coffee maker, along with a number of storage cupboards which hold crockery and cutlery, and offer some storage space for your basic provisions.

The bathroom in this studio is bright and beautifully tiled; it includes a shower cubicle as well as plenty of storage space for all those holiday lotions and potions.

The most important feature of Kastro studio is your private balcony, with table and chairs, where you can sit and enjoy the view over the pretty tree-lined pathways that line the route to the castle. Here you could enjoy your early morning tea as the sun rises over the castle, or share a bottle of local Greek wine in the evenings under the light of the castle ruins, basking in the history of days gone by, before heading out for the evening to enjoy the delicious Greek cuisine.
